McKinney-Vento
Every child deserves a safe, stable place to learn and grow. The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act is a federal law that ensures children and youth experiencing homelessness have equal access to public education. Our school is committed to identifying and supporting students who may be facing housing challenges so that their education can continue without disruption.
If you live in any of these scenarios, you may qualify for these protections.
- Doubled up with family or friends due to economic conditions
- Living in motels and hotels for lack of other suitable housing
- Homeless and domestic violence shelters
- Cars, trailers, and campgrounds
We are here to help.
No child’s education should suffer because of housing hardship.
If you believe your child may qualify—or if you are a student experiencing housing instability—please contact us. All information is handled with care and confidentiality.
