Attention 7th and 8th Grade Students: Indiana’s 21st Century Scholars Program helps income-eligible students earn up to four years of tuition at an eligible Indiana college (public or private). To qualify, students must enroll as Scholars in seventh or eighth grade. Scholars fulfill a pledge of good citizenship and participate in a Scholar Success Program that helps them plan, prepare and pay for college completion and career success. Scholars also must earn at least a Core 40 diploma and achieve a 2.5 GPA upon high school graduation. First, you have to apply before June 30 of your eighth-grade year. For income guidelines or to apply online, visit Scholars.IN.gov or click on the links below. Please contact our school counselor at KIS for more information on the program.
